3. Connecting With Other Proactive Professionals
Be engaging. Show up, and get involved. Show that you are a giver. Do not simply take and ask questions. If you want to connect with an influencer, teacher, trainer, or renowned entrepreneur, be a giver. It is all about relationships and adding value. Be a part of these individuals’ focus by putting yourself where they are focusing, and helping them work on this area. Tactically, you can find an event they will be speaking at, and go to it. Prior to the event starting, be present and engage their social media. Let them know what you think of their work and give unsolicited feedback. Share your insights with them and their audience. Help them facilitate engagement on their social media for a few months up to the event you will likely see them at. When you meet them in person, tell them you are “username” and have enjoyed their work. They will likely recognize and appreciate you.
4. Your Brain On Appreciation Hormones
You become what you think about. Your thoughts and emotions trigger what hormones are released and the genes that are turned on and off. Everything that we think is directly attached to how we feel. Take your thoughts captive. Often HOW YOU THINK will affect how you feel. Which then impacts neural pathways within your brain. The way you think creates a sort of “gutter” or thought patterns. Thought patterns can be adjusted and changed. Humans have the ability to change thought patterns. When you change thought patterns it affects not only your physical brain, but the entire body is affected. We have more impact on our bodies and our world than we give ourselves credit for.

Stand confidently and walk consistently, KNOWING that all good things are coming your way. Know who you are and stand strong in that.
